![]() Amazon sellers tend to not deliver by the date advertised (and I am talking several days). In the last two or so years, I have found Amazon shipping to denote the height of lies and incompetence. Parts have been what was advertised, by all indications. I have used Rockauto a lot in recent years. If needed, I might write the seller and ask for his/her assurance that the part is as advertised. For ebay sellers, I would look at the reviews. But I make maybe a dozen auto parts and auto tools purchases each year from eBay. ![]() I have read eyewitness (not he said-she said) reports in general with problems with eBay sellers selling aftermarket parts as though they were Denso, Aisin or other reputable manufacturers. When I told the seller this and documented my proof, the seller promptly refunded me the money. The part did not even have the same machining as the Denso part advertised it was obvious. Around 2016, I had one experience with an eBay seller claiming an oxygen sensor was a Denso when it clearly was not. If you recommend getting OEM plugs, where's a good place to buy them? I can get them on Advance Auto for about $10.50 each after a coupon (CHRISFIX25), but that's a pretty expensive plug! Are the newer Iridium plugs just as reliable as the OEM Platinum double-ground plugs? If so, is it true that the single-ground Iridium plugs are more efficient? Similarly, I want to go with the more reliable option. My question is as follows: should I stick with the Iridium or go to the Platinum? I'm thinking of going with NGK either way since I read they have the best reliability. However, when I check my owner's manual today, it calls for twin-ground platinum spark plugs ( Advance Auto Parts - Down for Maintenance). ![]() I went onto Advance Auto Parts and ordered the following NGK Iriduim single-ground spark plugs ( ) since the website said they'd fit and because I wanted good reliability. I just got a 1999 RAV4 as my first vehicle and am replacing the spark plugs since it's that time in their service cycle. Hi everyone! I've been searching around the internet on this topic and can't find a consensus.
